  1. Bakshera says:

Have you ever seen such a big squirrel?
    It’s a little kangaroo!

  2. Zira says:

Baby squirrels are so cute! I’ve helped take care of a few of them before they were taken to a rehabber.

  3. Curtis Ropp says:

As soon as someone want’s to spend the 100 or so generations to domesticate them, I will take two :)

  4. Rob says:

    Beautiful, cute! :-)

  5. LOLCATS says:

    I can has kapshunz?

  6. lolfake says:

um, you notice how disproportional it is? its photoshop guys….

  7. se7ensnakes says:

i have a reason why i don’t believe in a god like the Christians. One time i saw a hawk take one of these squirrel and tear it apart while the mother watch screaming. How can god exist and allow such a cruel nature?

    • M says:

First, if you’re not going to LOL-speak at least use proper grammer. Second, God created every living thing in the “great circle of life” – even down to the annoying misquito – and all for specific reasons. No one or nothing would exist without it or Him. You can spout science all you want or boo hoo tree hugging rhetoric, but even science cannot recreate anything as complex as life from scratch… from nothing… or from total chaos (as in we all came from some ameba). God loves every living thing, including you whether you believe or not!! He knows when every sparrow falls and knows all the hairs on your head and you are worth more than many sparrows to Him! How awesome for you and me! And one other thought… if we came from apes why do we still have apes??? :-D

      • Val says:

Please spare us your know-all correction of another person’s grammar, when you can’t even spell (ie. NOT “grammer” or “misquito” – people who live in glass houses).

And if you can’t understand the concept of present-day apes and humans both developing from a common ancestor millions of years ago, at least don’t ram your ignorance down the throats of the rest of us. Nor your bible-bashing. I come here to enjoy pictures of animals, not hear about this wonderful god that created so much misery.

        • Miskav says:

Since when does talking about your faith constitute as ramming “your ignorance down the throats” of others? Se7en was the one that brought up God in the first place. Isn’t he shoving his atheism down my throat? If I want to be “ignorant” and believe that this world could NOT have been an accident, that’s my business. You advocate tolerance and the evolution of the human being. Isn’t suppressing someone else’s faith a move that would have been made several hundred years ago? However, I do agree that this blog is about enjoying animals (regardless of where one believes they came from). Though I do encourage you in the future to point the finger where it belongs. M was merely defending his faith, even if it seems trivial to you. Certainly you can’t fault him for that.

          • Grace says:

Where do you see atheism? He only said he isn’t a Christian- that does not an atheist make. And one can defend his faith without tearing down the beliefs of another, which is not what your friend M did. Practice what ye preach.

            • Miskav says:

I’ll concede that se7en may not be an atheist. I was thrown by his opening statement. Though I’m not sure exactly where M “tore down” beliefs. As for practicing what I preach, my whole point was that M didn’t bring up the conversation in the first place.

            • HulkBunny says:

Actually, he said he didn’t believe in a god in general, which makes him atheist. He was using Christianity as an example. Read before you comment.

    • steven says:

Ok, that last part about the apes…..You know why we still have apes genius? because of survival of the fittest! Apes are not only centered on one part of the earth! Whats to say one group of apes didn’t evolve because their climate was changing and they needed to change to survive, and the other group(s) stayed the same because they didn’t need to evolve?
P.S if the god in the bible is real he sucks major! who creates something just to make them worship him? and if they don’t? they get to burn! Sounds like a tyrant to me, AND that sparrow comment….Sounds like god is a screwed up scientist to me…He created the sparrow,Then he created man, then he cast away sparrow cause he like man better :p

  8. Haliea says:

lolfake: Not if the person has small hands. I’ve helped to take care of a baby squirrel before, and the little one filled my hands up. It was about as old as the one in the picture, too.

And now, away from responding to the people who always cry photoshop at EVERY SINGLE FRICKEN PICTURE…

    OMG PEEPY SQUIRREL!

  9. Polprav says:

Beautiful creatures. My family had a squirrel when I was a teenager and I’ve a brother who’s raised 4 of them at different times. Raised ‘em feeding with an eyedropper because they’re mouths where so small.

  14. Alex says:
