Ah, I’m sorry about Onigiri… I’ve heard rats are really great pets; very intelligent and friendly. Perhaps in time, you’ll get another little rattie friend. ^_^
I have two rats right now. My Amelia looks a lot like your Onigiri. I’m so sorry about your loss. I think that after some time getting another is a great idea. They’re some of the best pets you can ever have.
I swear, my sisters rat Ziva looks exactly like Onigiri!
If Onigiri’s black stripe was broken and splotchy down the back instead of full, then it’s like Ziva’s twin.
Thank you all for you comments and sorry it took so long to respond.
I still have Sashimi, a topaz fancy rat doe who grew up with Onigiri, and I am considering adopting new baby rats after she goes. (Sashimi is now 2yrs 8 months old)
Sashimi seems to be quite comfortable on her own, as she spends a lot of time with me and gets all the attention. Not very social and easily annoyed by other rats, she didn’t quite get along with Onigiri, who was very loving and cuddly and playful…
The more I look at their pictures and at all the rat videos online, the more I want to get new babies ^.^
RATS ARE ADORABLE!! I don’t care what all you sissy-prissy freaks say, RATS ARE ADORABLE!!
