They may be cute but you would not want to cuddle the actual real wild ones. Most of them are just like normal dogs now, in zoos.
They have the ‘bad rap’ for a reason – they’re the Australian version of a wolf. They’re dangerous. Cute yes, but if you see a wild one, leave the area quickly.

I agree with Teek; I’m pretty sure those are Shiba Inus, in which case they’re harmless.
Those aren’t shiba inus; look at their tails. No curling, they hang like dingos’ do.
