Aw, she’s so happy she’s melting into a puddle of fluff.

Sasha the cat, rescued as a feral kitten, is rarely seen by anyone but me and my husband because she runs and hides whenever anyone else comes over. This photo is proof to the world that she is capable of mellowness.

My feral rescue, Kiki, is the same way! It’s so cute how she stops in her tracks even if she hears a knock on the door and runs and hides. No one believes how lovable she is either, or that she even exists for that matter!
Awww, sweet fuzzy girl! Give her another pat from me.
And good for you, fellow cat rescuers! My
eldest is a former feral, and he’s going on 16 now. They enrich our lives.
Aww, I have one of those! He hears the doorbell ring or a strange voice in the house and he runs under the bed until the coast is clear (sometimes not ’till the next day). The ONLY exception – EVER – was when one of my girlfriends came to visit for the weekend, and one evening he popped out of the bedroom, slunk into the living room and timidly hopped right onto her lap! I’d never seen anything like it before.
This cat looks exactly like my cat! Only much more friendly!
