  1. catstina says:

That’s a toughie. I know that someday it will grow up to be a sphynx and they are not cute as grown ups. I can’t even tell if it’s cute now…

  2. foxy91 says:

im getting a sphynx eventually :)

  3. timothymh says:

    My personal opinion: meh.

  4. Dreamingliz says:

I think s/he is very cute! Love all the little wrinkles.

  5. Skyfire says:

Kitteh are always teh kyoot, even with out hair.

  6. Sunshine says:

    Too adorable…/me loves sphynx keettays!

  7. Toni says:

Very cute – definitely cat and might not be a sphynx. Could possibly be a devon rex or cornish rex. Looks like a Devon Rex to me (I have one, the same colouring as this one. Looks like his kitten pohotos

    • Colleen says:

sphynx came from a canadian devon rex mother in the 1960s who had one bald kitten. and that bald one got handed over to a geneticist if i recall. and you have to breed the spynx with a furry cat, they usually use a devon rex for that to keep the same shape. im not going to check my facts because i have a fever lol

  8. Patty says:

    Adorable naked kittehs FTW!

  9. Sharon says:

Just cause he’s hairless doesn’t make him ugly!!
    He’s adorable!!

  10. Lula says:

    So CUTE!

  11. Kathy says:

She’s a baby, even when they’re not ‘cute’, they’re endearing. Every species is a part of our great big world; keep them coming.

  12. Jalah says:

I agree that this little guy is indeed cute, but must we all speak in lol speak all the time? It makes you sound like an idiot. Would you do this in public? Would you do it at work? Save the lol speak for captioning pictures and talking to babies.

  13. Colleen says:

I love sphynx! i just can afford one. Theyd be perfect for me. I sunburn very easily lol

  14. Kathy says:

    Kitty! Yay!

  15. Hello_Cthulhu says:

It’s tiny! It’s helpless! It needs noms & warmth & love! Who cares if it won’t win any beauty contests? I wanna cuddle it NOW!!!

  16. lauralove says:

hmmmm the wrinkles make him look a little like a drowned rat, but the little mid-meow face makes me giggle.

  17. syd4896 says:

I agree that the fact that it is a kitteh means it need noms, luv etc, but this baby looks angry! I know that this kitteh will not be too cute as a grown up either. EEK. I feel bad for it. I would like to knit it a sweater…

  18. Eris_Raven says:

I’m not sure “squick” and “squee” are mutually exclusive. Being a hideous, bald, wrinkled abomination just makes this little guy even more pathetic and therefore more sympathetic. I just want to knit him a little sweater and snuggle him!

  19. Cath says:

While not quite “abomination”, the Sphinx cat is overdone. Really..just have a cat. Breeding is going overboard, imo.

  20. Marian says:

Sweet little baby kitteh needs luvs and noms!

  21. Psychocat says:

I have a friend who has had three of these little guys, and each of them was a sweetie! I’ve made form-fitting sweaters for them to wear during the colder months, and they love ‘em! When you pet them, they feel kinda like suede-covered hot water bottles, and they are very affectionate little boogers.

    =^..^=

  22. borderliner says:

OMG….that is one very, very, very cute kitten! Love the blue eyes and curly whiskers (Devon Rex?)

  23. marshmolotov says:

    Squee! I love sphynx kittens!

To all the naysayers, I dare you – DARE YOU – to look at this sphynx kitten and not squee your pants: http://thedailykitten.com/media/kittypix/0/kitten674.jpg

  24. Johnny Chopstix says:

What’s not to love? I can cuddle it and still breathe. Awesome kewtness.

  25. Sally says:

Of course he’s (she’s?) cute – it’s a baby animal, right? They’re cute by default.

  26. Holly says:

It’s so wrinkly! ^.^ And they look even nicer when they get older.

  27. Kari says:

We had a cat that was part sphinx and was bred to have hair. He mated with our long haired cat and made some really pretty babies. ^^
    These cats are awesome.

  28. Mairead says:

Heehee…I’m tentatively a “squee”, but do wish the record to note that s/he would be much more squee-able with some judicious application of an iron.

  29. Baby Sparkle says:

    Spynx kitten!! SQUEEEEEEEEEEE!!

  30. Justine says:

Oh dear … what in the heck is that??????
Cute in a very odd way.

  31. Andrea says:

That looks more like a peterbald (I have one) They get less wrinkiley, as they grow up… I LOVE hairless kitties, no matter the breed. They are amazing animals… :D

  32. Jim says:

Aww, see what happens when you bathe them too much! All shrunk and wrinkly.

  33. Average Jane says:

It’s still a kitten, so I have to vote cute.

  34. Lisa says:

I’m undecided. It’s very weird looking, but I’m sure she/he is a sweetie.

  35. Shara says:

its very cute no matter what you ppl say!! i bet its even cuter than human babies!

  36. Leela says:

…It looks demonic. I think I just peed a little.

  37. Shadowlily says:

Sphynx are awesome! If I ever get a cat, that is the only breed I can get, since I am allergic to cat fur. I know it’s the fur cause I can hold newborn kittens, when all they have is super short fuzz.

    • Hello_Cthulhu says:

Unfortunately, Shadowlily, the substance that produces cat allergies isn’t their fur or dander. It’s an enzyme in cat *saliva* that causes allergies in humans. Since cats are always grooming themselves, the saliva coats their fur and skin. So even hairless kitties can produce reactions in people with severe cat allergies. Allergy shots help a bit if you’re around cats occasionally, but if you’re that allergic — even if you get regular injections — you’re better off not adopting one yourself. (My solution: Having lots of kitty-owner friends! ^_^)

  38. DeviSmiles says:

    kinda cute kinda wierd.

  39. katya514 says:

Awwww! Definitely squeeworthy. :) Odd, but so cute.

  40. the_cute_soo_sweet says:

Maybe it looks not so fuzzy-cute as other kittens, but I know, how a kitten without fur feels like. I once had one in my hand as I was on a Cat Exhibition Show… their skin feels soooo soft and smooth even without hair… and they’re quite hot (srsly, cats normally have higher body temperature than humans…)
*g* and the purring feels even cuter than fuzzy cats purring…

in fact, they’re amazing, except the wrinkles *gg

  41. Neko, y u asks? says:

awwww T ^ T I HATE PEOPLE WHO HATES CATS THAT I LOVE AND I LOVE ALL OF THEM IN THIS WORLD THAT I DON’T LIKE WHICH IS THE WORLD I DON’T LIKE AND YOU DoN’T LIKE IT EITHER

  42. Heather says:

He IS kinda cute – but ya’ know, even “ugly” kitties need love too!
