There is a story to go with this though! This wee one is actually afraid of the mud. His owners had to put the boots on him so he could walk around.
Yeah, I remember this story, too – poor little guy, I hope he outgrows his phobia once he gets a little bigger…

yea i was about to say there is a pig that is scared of mud so they had to put boots on him, im not sure if this one is the same or not though, i thought it was a different color, the one i saw on tv. but none the less its cute, though i do feel bad for the piggy
I have read another story about a wee piggeh in England who had to wear gumboots as she had a phobia of dirt (they are so smart!). I now have her picture as my screen saver – she is charging around in green boots (which are actually pencil holders her owners found in their study) happy as a clam! Bless them! He is absolutely gorgeous and I hope someone doesn’t eat him. Pigs are so lovely and it is horrible that people eat them.

Pigs actually like to be CLEAN…not muddy. They just get in the mud if they are HOT and no other way to cool down is available!!

the article on peoplepets says they raise their pigs to be pets only, not eaten. unless someone out there eats their pets. ewwwwww!
