I have a teacup maltipoo that looked like this when she was a baby..Still looks like this but a little bigger and 4 yrs old now
I do believe that is a maltese puppy about 2 to 3 weeks old. It will not stay like that, as all puppies must grow up and become dogs. But for that tiny moment they are so very cute.

That Maltese pup is what they call Hydrocephalus which means there is fluid within the brain. In a hydrocephalic dog, the ventricles fill with too much fluid. They become swollen, and the increased pressure damages and/or prevents development of brain tissue. This poor pup will most likely not live to be a year old.

I just died a little inside. A cute puppy like that should have a full, great life with some masters that would do a lot to save it.

I had a teacup poodle from the ASPCA that had been badly abused and I had to pay the medical bills to adopt. Imagine that, adult owners of a pedigreed permanent pup that he became so afraid of people. Darn shame, I say. Spoiled darn people get themselves a $600-700 dog and then beat it when they feel like it, that’s got to tell you too much money warps the brain. Now, if they had to pay taxes instead of stashing it offshore, well they just might be more responsible about the things they spend their money on, but, man, these pets are living gifts from Our Lord and not meant to be abused and neglected, treated like disposable and replaceable toys, like the rich and wealthy treat everything incuding pets and people, and anyone who thinks so, or just treats these pets as a piece of business pedigrees, NO they do not deserve these marvelous creatures of the Lord who without even being asked serve their “masters” even though we think of them as our dear friends, well those of us who know how very lucky we are. I am just lucky enough to have an American Domestic Longhair who is a psychological pedigreed assumed personality, and has behavior characteristics of a spoiled pedigree, however, is as affectionate as the mixed breed that she is, and as mild as any 16 year old ADL who has been loved and catered to as she has been, and shows her affection every night sitting by me at my desk, and then sleeping by my side, her right back leg resting on my left leg, it is so subtly expressive of how utterly deep it is between us and how we shall spend our years in retirement, enjoying the company of one another, two lives so good. You can only know this much if you care this much, much like marriage, if you prize it , it will stay close and warm to your heart….
