    I think it’s a wombat.

  2. Chrystalyn says:

I think that it would be hilarious to see the poor critter wet! Those little ears make me think that there’s a tiny vulnerable creature under all that fur… Kinda like washing a big fluffy dog and all of a sudden it’s this little scrawny wet thing!

  3. Ashley says:

He looks like some breed of hyrax to me.

  7. TLS says:

Quick, somebody make a flash cartoon of its head rotating to the music of Spanish Flea!

    That’s one awesome wombat!

  9. TravelDreamer says:

    Oh it’s a Chase!

  10. kitty says:

Common Wombat! :D They are gorgeous, but don’t let their cuteness fool you. They can be dangerous!

  11. Shairlyn says:

Common wombat, they grow up to a meter long and are strong and very heavy. They’re extremely cute but they dig huge burrows and if you hit one on the road you will total your car. They’re the tank of the animal kingdom.

Eminently squee-able however, and baby ones are even cuter.

  12. taself says:

It’s a wombat alright. Don’t let the cuteness fool you, the babies might be cute and cuddly but the adults can be really bad tempered and territorial. They have one hell of a bite.

  13. kristin says:

    aww, nice marmot!
