I have an unexplainable resentment towards chinchillas that makes it hard for me to write a non-inflammatory caption. But chinchillas are jerks and this video just confirms it! LOOK AT HIM! Just sitting there. WEARING THAT HAT. Who does he think he is!? ARG!

I can’t help but hate chinchilla’s aswell. I know a guy we call chinchilla, and he’s a douche. But he’ll never be as cool as this chinchilla with his pimpy hat.

OMG, how can you post such a nasty remark about Chinchillas?? This site is named “Daily Sqee” for a reason(I thought). Chinnies may not be YOUR idea of a squee, but to so many others, they are squee-lous.

I think you need to undergo some sort of Chinchilla Deconditioning Therapy in which you are exposed to many, many chinchillas, complete with cute poses and soft fur, until you no longer feel chinchilla-related resentment and may even begin to feel positive toward chinchillas. At some point you will be able to lie in a swimming pool full of chinchillas and enjoy it.
Can I pretend to resent chinchillas so I can experience this wonderful idea??
Dawww, chinchillas are so cool, no resentment required! Plus I feel so sorry for them since some cruelies want them only for their oh so soft and beautiful fur.
A guy I lived with had chinichillas once. He started out with two, and then they had a baby. OMG. Look up pictures of baby chinchillas. It’s mind boggling how adorable they are. And they peep when you poke them XD
Chinchillas are adorable and mega-squishy. They can squeeze through an inch wide gap with only minor complications. Where’d the chinchilla go? out the door.
They also have a tendency to kill themselves. Either that or dude’s chinchillas were just REALLY UNHAPPY. but 2/3 died within a month of each other, one from unknown causes and the other from nomming a clock cord >_<
But… other than that, they were pretty cool. What could a chilla possibly do to cause resentment? o_O

I resent that comment. I really do. Chinchillas are like, the BEST PETS EVER! When you earn their trust they are friendly and lovable. I’m guessing the reason you don’t like this chinchilla because it’s still alive and not lining your coat. And yes, that was a rather pointless rant but…meh. poutpoutpout.

My chinny was very sweet and lovable. He would even smile when you rubbed his chin the right way. He’s been gone over a year now and I still miss him dearly. <3

Chinchilla resentment– and actual hate?! Seems bizarre to me. Especially when there are so many politicians to rightfully sop up such emotions.
Chins are awesome! Even if you owned a ‘bad’ one you can’t write the whole species off on one individual. What if we did that to humans?
