      SERIOUSLY. I loved this video!

This also proves that ferrets and kitties can get along! I think I”ll have to get a ferret and my kittens at the same time when I get an apartment, lol. This is SOOO cute!

I about died of the cuteness when the second ferret came in!

  15. DrZ says:

I cannot believe they are not eating each other for lunch!! Do they really get along or were they trained that way from when they were just teeny, tiny squees?

    • Paula says:

I wonder if ferrets just aren’t cat fodder. My sister’s adult cat had no problem adjusting to life with ferrets. They just loved to tease and hassle eachother like these guys. Lots of sideways ferret dances.

    • 54 says:

so many people think that. i had a kitty for about 2 or 3 years when i got my ferret. i was a little worried since the ferret was so small but they were pretty much insta-best friends. the cat would sit by her cage and meow when he wanted me to let her out to play. he even slept in there with her sometimes. the weasel was devastated when the kitty passed away. dang. now i’m really sad.

      • Shifty says:

Generally cats and ferrets get along pretty well. Most times you’ll find the cat either loves or is annoyed by the antics of the weasels.

I think it’s because ferrets do not act like prey. They come charging right after the cat and that’ll set the feline back. Also ferrets can hold their own if it comes down to it.

Most of my cats were actually afraid of the ferrets at first. One of them was young and grew up thinking she was a ferret! She would sleep in their cage(and if you liked your skin you wouldn’t try to remove her!), and wrestle with the best of ‘em!

“No. No, you see, you are mistaken. This is my paper bag. No–no–HEY. VACATE IMMEDIATELY.”
I tend to translate animals for fun.

  17. John Techno says:

Is it a trick of the camera or do those two ferrets have unusually long tails? I’m sure my two ferrets’ tails are only around half that length! They’re every bit as cute though :-)

  18. Cynthia Coons says:

Whatcha got there kitteh? Oh nothing just a bag o’ ferrets!
