Talk about identity crisis. This little degu seems to think he’s some kind of bird. Something tells me his mating ritual won’t go over well with the ladybirds in his neighborhood…

My degu BooBoo sang all the time. She started like this when she was young. As she grew up, her song became longer and sweeter. One day she sang like a warbling bird for 10 hours straight!
Her sister and my chinchillas wanted to kill her.
That’s actually rather typical, when I had two degus, they sang like that, too.
