Dog, Wrong Babies!

cute baby animals - Dog, Wrong Babies!

Aw! What a nice mother! Look at her face! I think she knows that these kittehs aren’t her babies, but she’s nursing them because she’s a total sweetheart. Does anyone know the back story behind this picture?

That lovely doggie is Isabella, who adopted those white tiger cubs at the Safari Zoological Park in Kansas. The cubs were rejected by their mother, and Isabella was willing and able to step in.

Hah, seriously! My cat had seven kittens and her tummy was raw and blistered and bleeding from how bad they mangled her when they nursed. She ended up with thick areas of scar tissue around the edge of each teat, the poor thing.

Awwww, I love it when mommies adopt a baby (or a litter) of another species. Shows what good kind creatures they are.

  6. Robin says:

This just goes to show……a mommy is a mommy and will take care of any babies that need love :)

  7. Willow says:

Why did the cub’s mum rejected her babies?

  8. Lynn says:

Not to kill the squee, but mom might have rejected them because they are super inbred… all white tigers are bred down from one that was found in the wild. The gene is recessive, so many deformed little tigers are born along with the super cute ones. :(

Isn’t that the “Awesome Pawsome” from the Australia zoo?
