I have a black cat with green eyes, and this is basically the view I wake up to in the morning. I roll over, open my eyes, and there she is on the edge of the bed giving me that “You’re awake! Food dish is empty. Fill it.” look.
It actually reminds me of the adorable black kitten from FLCL.

It’s a possum, and if it’s here in Aotearoa it needs to die DIE DIE!!!! The damage that these little fur-balls do is nothing short of terrifying. They’re doing staggering damage to NZ’s forests.
