Tiny Oinker

What a teeny tiny piggie! I lived on a ranch as a kid and I told my mom I wanted a baby pig and she wouldn’t let me have one because “they’ll get bigger!” I don’t think she understood! When my pig is a baby it will be adorable and when it’s an adult it will be AWESOME. I imagine owning a pet pig would be like being friends with Nick Frost.

(Oh god I re-read that and realized I sound like that “my baby” girl from “Maury”.)

snowcaps: If mah baby pig needs a bottle I’ll get it one, and if I can’t afford it, I guess I’ll hafta steal it.

Check out Royal Dandies – They are teeny, even when full grown.
BTW, that video was so disturbing!

To breed a dog like a dachshound from an animal as big as a wolf needed thousand of years.

Also to breed a shire horse or a shetland pony needed thousand of years

And now you want to tell the people that a minipig of the size of a shepherd with 200 pounds weight, was breed tiny enough in 20 years?

Yeah, minipigs were first breed as laboratory animals and the defenition is that minipigs have a normal weight range without beeing fat, between 160 an 200 pounds.

It is a lie that a healthy minipig will stay as small as a small dog/housecat.

You only achieve that through starving, breeding brother and sisters so genetic defects will keep the pig small..which also makes them die after a couple of years.

Minipigs are just not breed long enough by humans to make them into a variety like we have it with the different dog breeds.

Minipigs are breed from south american and south african small pigs..it is their natural size.!!!

They are not a small breed of domestic pigs!!

So do not lie to the people and tell them that it is possible to turn a 200 pound animal into something of 20 to 50 pound…just as impossible as breeding a cat into the size of a shepherd or a shepherd to the size of a housecat in the matter of years!

I breed minipigs so do not lie!

All piglets are the size of a rat at birth, they will fit in one hand!

What you show is a outright lie.

Minipigs can breed when they are 4 months old, so for the fooled buyer it will look as if the mother is really small..but in reality she is not fully grown.

Minipigs reach their full height at 5 years !

Wanna see a picture how mother and baby look compared?

The small baby is so small it fits in a hand..and the mother is now 180 pounds and as big as a shepherd!

      Here another nice shoot

three month old compared to three days old

      You are selling a lie!

And you are not only lying to the people, you are also hurting the animals because what happens when the kittylike pig is 200 pounds at 5 years and as big as a shepherd?

There are thousand of minipigs out there which are killed or thrown away like garbage because people like you spread lies!

Ugh, thanks for making me click that “my baby” link. I’m sick now. Happily the piggy makes me feel better.

OMG, that video was pretty disturbing – but, LOL at the analogy!! :) And this has to be the cutest Baby Pig in the whole world!

      • cyrell says:

All mipig babys are so cute and little.

My piglets were so small as a rat and fit in one hand…

Minipigs are fully grown after five years…there are no healthy fully grown 30 or 40 pound pigs

Minipigs are not domestic small breed pigs, they are natural small south american and african pigs.

So to tell a natural 200 pound minipig will be 40 pound through 30 years breeding work is a simple lie.

It is a lie like if someone told you he breed lions as small as housecats in 30 years…just not possible.

Minipigs are fertile with 4 months and then they have only 40 pounds…it will look as if the adult sow is really small when in reality she is not fully grown.

        http://fc00.deviantart.net/fs24/f/2007/359/3/8/And_i_thought_i_was_small_by_Shamancat.jpg

Two litters..one three months old and the size of a housecat, the other smaller ones are three days old and are as small as a rat and fit in one hand.

Just like the picture of the royal dandies with the coke can.

So if a dachshound puppy is smaller than a shepherd puppy, why are the royal dandies piglets which are only 40 pounds fully grown, not smaller then the piglets from a 200 pound minipig sow????
