Kneady Cougar Kitten

WOW! This is definitely one of the cutest videos I’ve EVER seen! It’s like a typical kitten video… But with a giant cougar kitty! It makes it feel like the camera is SUPER HD!

Absolutely adorable! I’m curious as to why it looks like it’s a house pet, but it doesn’t alter the cuteness. For a second I was confused though, because I know that most big cats can’t purr (breathing out yes, because the mechanism that allows purring in house cats differs from the one in big cats ((used for roaring)) but cougars are the exception. Although, isn’t it that they can’t roar then?

  8. MommyCat says:

Yes, Kayla. I understand cats can either purr or roar but not both.

  9. Daphne Moss says:

I agree with Ghee and Julie…as adorable as this photo is, it is wrong to raise cougars in captivity. They are born to be wild.

  10. isn’t that behavior typical of cats separated from their mothers too soon? my cat does that and it is cute but then i found that out and feel bad cause i didn’t know it was too soon :(

Nope. Many cats do it, regardless of when whey were weaned. I have a male cat who’s never been away from his mom, and he occasionally kneads me.
