This is a baby turkey. Look at his face! He’s not mad at you he’s just… disappointed.
…And I’m sitting in front of my computer, nomming this baby’s distant relative. And I’m not sorry.
Euugh, why would you eat turkey whilst using the computer. Pretty poor hygiene, I must say.
The 1 turkey who survived after Thanksgiving. Good job little guy, good job.
No wonder it’s dissapointed. Its mom has probably been eaten by now
You don’t need to be disappointed in me, lil squee… I had tofurkey!
It’s amazing that this turky baby is so cute, since adult turkeys are quite ugly, really.
I dunno about amazing. Am I the only person who thinks chicklets are adorable, but adult chickens… less so?
Oh, you are most definitely NOT the only person who thinks this. When I was much younger I went through a “won’t eat anything that is cute” phase in which I refused to eat chicken unless I was assured it was an ugly adult chicken and not a cute baby one. To this day the idea of eating baby animals bothers me quite a bit, but I’ll eat chicken no problem.
Then I’ve got some tough news for you–the chickens people eat are slaughtered at about 45 days old. They’re a litttle larger because of genetic engineering, hormones, and an overload of antibiotics, but they’re babies. They can’t even cluck yet when they die–they’re still peeping like little chicks.
No disappointment in me from a turkey. We had pot roast, so it would need to be a little calf.
No need to be disappointed, Junior, your turn will come soon enough.
Lol. I don’t like turkey meat. Plus, being in New Zealand we don’t even do the whole Thanksgiving day. Not many of us eat it for Christmas either.
Do u guys eat the lamb instead?
I’m veggie thank God. All animals and fishies safe with me. If a human got run over and died I would nom them tho’ LOL
Never seen a baby turkey before. Looks like it could grow into an ostrich.
Whatever, it’s safe with me, too, I can’t bear to eat dead animals, and I’m definitely not going to eat live ones.
My hens reward me every day with eggs instead.
Someday, I will eat you. See you then.
hehehe lol if i had a pet turkey, i’d call it Cranberry Sauce.
Nice pictures, thank you.
Spammer fail.
I wish they stayed this cute. If they did then us humans wouldn’t think of them as noms. :/
