Okay, so lots of things in life are black and white. But contrast makes the world go ’round, right? Or something like that? Come on, I’m starving for witticisms here!

Did you know that the human eye can never perceive true black? Any time something in the light is seen as black, it always has some sort of color reflecting off of it. You might say, what if you are in total darkness? That is not actual black either, but the absence of light (which means you aren’t seeing anything!).
So if we see a little light, it’s not true black. If we see no light, it’s not true black. What qualifies as true black, then?
Ow! It’s so bright…it looks almost like someone threw it into Photoshop and hit CTRL+I. Amazing shot, though, whoever took this is a genius with the camera.
