Foxes are vulpines, not canines but otherwise, I agree with you, different colored eyes do tend to stand out. I’ve never seen a fox this beautiful. wow.
Arctic foxes aren’t considered vulpines, but all foxes are considered part of the family Canidae.
From the Fox article on Wikipedia:
“Fox is a common name for many species of omnivorous mammals belonging to the Canidae family. Foxes are small to medium-sized canids (slightly smaller than the median-sized domestic dog), characterized by possessing a long narrow snout, and a bushy tail (or brush).”
Still technically canine.
Those eyes are just amazing. The fur on the blue-eyed side looks like it has blue tints and the fur on the brown-eyed side has brown tints! It’s almost like two foxes in one! <3
I fell in love with this look when I first saw it, and the eyes just. Makes me want to grab the fox and give it a big fuzzy hug.

Thought of shopped too.. Both of the eyes. The “brown” one is too yellow. Usually the eyes seem almost black against the white winter fur. But still.. lovely.
Ans for Mina for the braking news: wolfs have bigger ears and longer snouts.
It’s entirely possible for an arctic fox to have yellow eyes. Their eye color can vary anywhere between brown and yellow.
