Koala can’t resist cuddly softness. And he thinks nothing is softer and cuddlier than a goggie’s back. so sweet!

Because they are pretty much stoned on Eucalyptus leaves.
Because otherwise they’re really, really MEAN. Or so I’m told.

About 25 years ago I went to Lone Pine Sanctuary in Brisbane, Australia. We arrived by boat and at the dock were met by a german shepherd with a koala clinging to its back. I believe I was told they met every boat in the same fashion. Also got to hold a koala at this same sanctuary, happy memory!
