Is the ferret Kodo or Podo?
Is that definitely a ferret? It’s mighty cute but there’s something about it’s face that looks a little…I dunno, marten-like?
Yeah, that looks more like a black footed ferret. The large black nose and face shape do not seem right. Anyway, still cute!
its definatly a ferret. some have abnormal colorings. mine had a lot of black spots on its nose.
It’s definitely not a black-footed ferret (Mustela nigripes). I think it’s a Steppe Polecat (M. eversmanii) or possibly a European polecat (M. putorious). The domesticated ferret is a descendant of the European polecat (M. putorious furo) although I’ve read steppe polecat might be in the mix.
At any rate, I think it’s safe to conclude that it is ADORABLE! <3
well ferrets originated from the polecat so……could be
