As a LOTR fan… I named my kitty Pallando Alastar Istari (or pai). The first two names are the blue wizards and the last word means “wise ones” … that’s just one cat. My other is Harley “cupcake” Quinn.

Sort of. She’s a calico and is pretty adorable. The orange and black switch places on her ears and upper part of her head. Her face is kinda even, and she has orange splotches that make her look like she got into a bag of Cheetos. Silly.. good name choice, friend!

I like “Chainsaw”, but can do without the “McScratchy” part (too cute and a little abrasive on the ears). Names that are too long always get shortened anyway… When he gets older and is tearing around the house, Chainsaw will be very appropriate. Don’t like either of those names. Why not try to think of one that references the kitty itself (color or personality) rather than some popular entertainment?

As for the Jack Bauer thing, it would have been kind of a “meh” name for that beautiful kitty. I like McScratchy; it was the chainsaw part that I thought was yucky.. as in Texas Chainsaw, Saw, and the like, so my mistake there regarding what was being referenced.
Not sure if anyone mentioned his but that cat looks like a SMUDGE.
