It’s always a little bittersweet, you know? Sending the fishers off at the docks, I mean. I know that their salmon hauls are what keep food on our plates every month of every year, and I know they’re experts in their line of work… but I just get so worried sometimes! There’s no way to contact them, and sometimes they’re gone for months, and I just wouldn’t know what to do with myself should something ever happen to them! It’s a very emotional moment for me every time it happens…

Wwwwway back in high school our mascot was the bear……In our foyer was displayed a stuffed Kodiak Brown Bear…..I’m told it was about 10 feet tall….
And to think Polar Bears are taller…………
