And here I was thinking I was going to go forever without truly connecting with someone! Turns out I was just looking in the wrong place! My fellow tiger friends are fine and all, but HUMANS! They’re the ones I really should have been looking for the whole time! This little girl just, like, gets me, you know? And she’s totally stylish, to boot! She even said she’s going to help me re-dye my stripes! How awesome is that!?

Copy & paste this:

I see a child in the tiger being attracted to the childlike heart in the child awakening in the mind of the tiger of peaceful days gone by when the world did not know what war was. That tiger wants to touch paw to the hand of the lad with the pure heart on the other side of the window.
Hmm. I see a tiger frustrated by a thickness of glass.
damn force field…. that child looks yoomie
Look at the submissive posture of the tiger with his head down with the raised paw. That is not an aggressive tiger.
“Oh, if only this invisible barrier wasn’t here, I’d have all the noms I could eat!”
It even looks like of the eyes of the tiger are closed.
nom, nom, nom, nom babies!
I’m thinking the head is lowered in an attempt to headbutt, like my cats do sometimes – to hands or elbows or whatever in an attempt to solicit attention.
When the cat head butts you they are putting their scent on you rubbing it on our body or legs.
When they rub against you they are, but I hadn’t heard that about the headbump. It’s a friendly greeting – two feline friends will do that when they meet.
“I have been… and always shall be… your friend.” Trek fan cosplay tiger-style.
Yeah, I don’t see any aggression in that tiger at all. I’m not saying the kd should be plopped down inside the pen with him, but I’m betting that tiger is used to human attention. I’ve been greeted like that by many tigers at the Exotic Feline Rescue Center in Center Pointe Indiana.
I used to work at the zoo this tiger (Taj) is from, there should be pictures somewhere of his exhibit-mate, Almos, doing the same thing around another little girl. T
he zoo is small so they don’t get the crowds a bigger zoo does and I think that, as a result, the animals are much more comfortable around people. The tigers in particular have learned to recognize the uniform of the people who work at the zoo and know these people take care of them. I’ve seen Taj here walk deliberately over and rub his side against his exhibit railing when the head keeper. He was totally begging for belly rubs. Almos used to stalk me while I was pulling weeds or when I passed by his exhibit on the way to my lunch. He’d always looked so shocked when he realized I could see him :p
What a sweet, sweet tiger. I knew I saw a pure loving heart in that tiger wanting to give the love that is in him. I can see that tiger getting on his back exposing his soft underside to be rubbed my human hands^^
Heh heh, I could see Taj and Almos doing that too. But then, I can also see them wanting to give some of their 300+ lbs of love in pouncing and play biting, like they do with each other. There’s a reason the keepers only rub the tigers when they’re leaned against the railing and can’t reach anything. Those goofballs just wouldn’t know their own strength.
“Mmm, back scratch! I love you human!” *NOM* “Human, why you yelling?”
Poor tigey wigey just wants some L♥VE…
It really makes you wonder what that big old cat would do if the glass wasn’t there. It looks friendly, like it wants to cuddle some. But, big cats are still big cats…
Hey it worked for Calvin & Hobbes!
*whisper* Mebbe tyger is sayng grace
It’s actually a liger, not a tiger. Lion/tiger hybrid.
