Acting Like Animals: Ugh, That Photo of Me is SO Unflattering!

cute animals - Acting Like Animals: Ugh, That Photo of Me is SO Unflattering!

Ugh, I sent Sibley FOUR DOZEN different photos, and they chose THAT ONE? This is an outrage! Who do I call to complain to about this? My beak looks SO crooked in that photo! It does the exact opposite of capture my good size! As if my feathers didn’t look ruffled enough in that photo, they’re really ruffled right now!

Dude, they’re just looking inside the back cover. Everyone knows the owls are, like, a third of the way from the front.

  2. Straydog says:

Never before have I been so aware of the lack of barn owl sitting on the back of my chair. Neeeeeeed.

  3. Hellenbackagain says:

Such a cute reaction of confusion for the poor owl… on another note, my gran has that book as well.. it’s kinda kick ass with the amount of info it has.

  4. XiaoChouLianr says:

Don’t think the guy is actually looking at the owls, because the owls are more toward the middle. If you’re that far into Sibley, then you’re clearly already in the songbirds. :) Yes, I know this doesn’t matter. I just am a dork for the Sibley guides.

  5. 2ScoopsRice says:

Owl bet these two are having a hoot…

  6. atandt says:

Is this the expurgated version of Sibley’s Standard Book of British Birds?

  7. Jessica says:

Owls are my absolute favorite! What a beautiful bird!

  8. bubbles says:

Sadly, since the movie the fourth kind I cannot really squee to owls anymore
