A zebra finch chick, obviously hand raised alone by this person, so the chick is imprinted. Should be a nice companion, as long as the human in the video is careful about this birds’ time outside it’s cage. Zebra finches can live for 10-15 years or more. I love their ‘beeping’ noises

Growing up, my next door neighbors raised finches…oh my freakin’ goodness…you think the adults are small…the babies are itty bitty fluff puff balls!!

My grandfather had a parakeet that he used to pet. Petey would sit on Grandpa’s head and preen his hair… Petey loved Grandpa.
