Well, at least the first draft was… he was actually going to title the piece “Pug it Up,” but his producers made him change it at the last minute for reasons still withheld from me. And for that I am incredibly bitter. But still fabulous, so I guess it’s okay.

I mean, sure, that’s a great story and whatever, and the rhyme scheme is pretty fabulous as well… but COME ON! There’s no way that vulpine character is even half as chic as me! I rock socks like Beyoncé rocks heels! … and also my feet get cold at night sometimes and so they are nice because they help me keep warm. But also they are stylish just like me and that’s really why I wear them!

What can I say? If I don’t dress up, then my human goes out for our in-public walks looking like she just rolled out of bed! She’s better than that, and she knows it, but sometimes she just needs a little… encouragement. And that’s when I don the beret and pull her heels out of the closet and force her to WORK IT. She always thanks me in the long run.

In the first year after we adopted her, she broke her front right leg, and maybe a month after that, needed to get a toe removed on her front left leg, so she ended up wearing this collar for close to a year, although I always felt bad and took it off sometimes when she did her puppy dog eyes. I do feel that the collar frames her face well though!”
If you’re gonna have to rock the cone of shame for close to a year, I guess there’s really no better way to do it than to rock it as a fashion statement!
