Squee lovers, this week’s Squee Spree contest features two fantastic kinds of foxes, both with adorable ears!
In the lovably alliterative corner, we have itty bitty fennec fox kits! And in the too-ominously-named-for-such-a-cute-face corner, we have baby bat-eared foxes!

Don’t ask me why, but this particular gif evoked in my head the idea of Metric’s “Empty” video, reshot with fennec foxes. “Here everyone squees / one kit wakes up as the other stays down,” etc.
Sure, your ears are a little crinkly, but I promise you still look a million times better than I do every morning, squee lil’ fennec friend!

Once they discovered this fennec could play the drums, the Energizer Battery company felt they really had no choice but to let their previous mascot go.
Happy New Year, squee lovers! My resolution here at Daily Squee is to bring you even more adorableness in 2012 than I did in 2011… and hopefully this darling fennec kit helps to start making good on that resolution immediately!

Squee lovers, since the end of the year is nearly here, I figured we should do something to spice up our LAST SQUEE SPREE OF 2011! Looking at all of this year’s Squee Spree contest winners, 10 squee animals rose above the competition as clear fan favorites: Harp seals, guinea pigs, ocelots, sloths, fennec foxes, goats, pigs, sea turtles, owls and tigers!
… I know it’s quite an undertaking, but here’s what I’m asking you to do: Check out the gallery below, and then vote for your FAVORITE of this week’s ten contestants in this week’s poll! The third place competitor will get their encore Squee Spree next week, the runner-up will get theirs after that, and the winner will kick off the 2012 Squee Spree season!
