Well, at least the first draft was… he was actually going to title the piece “Pug it Up,” but his producers made him change it at the last minute for reasons still withheld from me. And for that I am incredibly bitter. But still fabulous, so I guess it’s okay.

Good thing you took my request literally, human, because I was NOT about to start walking my little pugbutt home in this weather. You know how pruny my paws get if I spend more than a few minutes in water! It’s not a fun feeling for me, and I can’t imagine it’s a fun feeling for you either, since you’re the one who has to hear the whining I do when it happens. This sling-walking rig you whipped up is far preferable, if you ask me!

For as much as I usually loathe people who dress their pets up in costumes, I absolutely cannot bring myself to have anything but love for the brilliant pug parents who came up with this idea. Wampugs forever!
What can I say? I wanted to pay my cuddly little stuffed animal friend over here a compliment, so I decided I’d imitate him for the day. I mean, that’s quite a flattering thing for me to do, right? Given how amazing I am, I mean. When a pug of my caliber sees fit to put himself in your shoes, I certainly think you should feel flattered!
… also my humans don’t bathe my cuddly little stuffed animal friend over here, so hopefully they’ll mistake the two of us and I’ll manage to avoid my bath time? Fine, you caught me… that’s the REAL reason I’m doing this.
