Squee lovers, the winners of this week’s Squee Spree contest are itty bitty cygnets! The more I see cygnets, the more I realize how common of an occurrence the “swan bus” phenomenon seems to be. Which is totally fine with me, because it’s a totally adorable phenomenon indeed!

Your mother’s shell: It’s a ride that’s as stylish as it is comfortable and safe! … at least when you’re a tortoise… children reading this site, please don’t go and try and put shells on your mothers. They won’t like it very much at all, I can almost guarantee you.

Squee lovers, it’s back to school week for a lot of kids in the U.S., which means bus rides or carpooling or getting dropped off by parents. Of course, I think we can all agree that there’s one squee transportation service that’s far better than all of those listed above: The Swan Bus! While it may not be as cool as the Cat Bus, there are a lot of things that make the Swan Bus a great choice for transportation to and from school.
For one thing, Swan Buses are always very roomy…

Sea lion baby, what do you think you’re doing?! That’s not a taxi; it’s a turtle! If you don’t leave him alone, he’s going to buck you off his back, and then you’ll be in for some serious shell shock!
Oh man… oh man! Raft ride time! I’m sooooooooooo excited! I mean, the line is perpetually unbearable, but the payoff is SO WORTH IT. The rush you get as you’re sailing down the aquatic luge run… it’s just indescribable! It’s one of my favorite feelings in the world. I’m kind of an adrenaline junkie, if you couldn’t tell… but seriously, this is the best! It’s so worth the two-hour wait and the $55 admission fee!
