The innate cuteness of baby otters is one of the most unfair things in the entire world. Not that I’m really complaining about the squee overloads they induce in me, but still. I feel like they’re perpetual cheaters at the game of squee.

Squee lovers! Do you remember the itty bitty snowy owlet we featured back in June? Well, we have an update on Woodland Park Zoo’s latest squee little hooter, and it looks like it’s doing very very well!
For reference, here’s a picture of the baby back when we first saw him or her (the zoo is still waiting on DNA test results to determine its gender):

Or maybe squee dreams? Or maybe squee dreams and sweet dreams are identical? I feel like one of these is a necessary condition, whereas the other is sufficient… but while I could spend time pondering the logical ramifications of this photo, I’d rather just think about how badly I’d love to dream of this kitten for the rest of eternity.

How squee is this kiwi, you ask? Squee enough that I invented the word Squee-Y (with a capital Y, nonetheless) to describe its squee magnitude as accurately as I could, and I still don’t feel like I’ve done it any justice!
